Thomas Oide is a sophomore at the University of Missouri, studying data journalism, computer science and statistics. This summer, he was an intern on The Sacramento Bee's metro staff where he covered crime, Sacramento County Superior Court, health, county government and community issues. He previously worked at The Maneater, MU's student-run newspaper where he covered the racial protests and campus unrest in fall 2015 and at The Davis Enterprise, where he covered high school sports.
