Beena previously interned with the Star Tribune in Minneapolis and in Washington, D.C., with McClatchy Newspapers’ Washington Bureau and Cox Media Group in Ohio. She was raised just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, but went to undergrad in Maryland partially to be near D.C. and fuel her love for all things political.
